I never planned to be an entrepreneur.

For over 20 years, I built my career building major brands like Dr. Pepper, starting as a young marketing associate working on Spot, the red dot on 7-Up bottles, working my way up to leadership roles, and eventually my dream position as CMO for major consumer brands.

Marketing came naturally to me. I loved how it connected strategy with creativity, data with emotion, and brands with their consumers. I loved the strategic work, guiding companies through crucial growth phases and helping them navigate retail expansions that transformed their businesses. I loved my job for years until 2016 when, due to a corporate restructure, I said goodbye to my well-loved position.

What began as a temporary consulting bridge to my "next corporate role" turned into a surprising revelation: I could deliver more value by bringing executive-level marketing expertise to brands that couldn't yet afford (or didn't actually need) a full-time CMO.

Instead of building an agency, I chose to show up for my clients the way I always had inside organizations—as a strategic marketing leader focused on retail growth and brand sustainability.
